Do you want to know the law of another EU country? Do you want to make contacts by traveling to a European law firm for two weeks with a European Commission grant? If so, participate in the LAWYEREX project. The deadline for applications is July 11, 2022

A total of six exchange periods are planned during the project. The first exchange period will take place from September 2022 to January 2023. The rest of the exchanges will take place from February to June 2023, from September 2023 to January 2024, from February 2024 to June 2024, September in December 2024 and finally from January to April 2025. In each of the phases, two lawyers will be sent and two lawyers will be received from Europe.

A total of twelve members from Barcelona will be able to travel to France (Paris), Greece (Athens), the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Cyprus, Italy and Romania. In addition, the possibility of twelve other lawyers traveling to Barcelona to do internships in law firms in the city is being considered. Exchanges have no cost to recipient institutions. The costs are partially subsidized by the European Commission. Up to € 400 euros will be reimbursed for travel expenses. Accommodation and subsistence expenses will amount to € 100 per day, with a total of € 1400 for the two-week period.

The process of selecting two lawyers who want to do professional internships in another EU State between 1 September 2022 and 31 January 2023 is now open. The call is aimed at lawyers with a maximum of seven years of membership and with a high and demonstrable knowledge of English.

It should be noted that when selecting candidates, in addition to the two essential requirements (membership and knowledge of English) it will be taken into account that the level of English is high, have a foreign degree (course, master's degree ...), publications, training in English either here or abroad, work experience in the world of law, and work experience abroad.

The application must include a curriculum vitae (in English and incorporating what has been discussed in the previous paragraph), a completed application form (ATTACHED), a brief letter of motivation explaining the suitability of the application to the requirements of participation (in English), membership number, e-mail and contact telephone number.

The deadline for applications is July 11, 2022. The decision will be communicated by e-mail to each candidate.
