The International Law Section of the Florida Bar Association and Barcelona Bar Association: Lawyers Exchange Program

Are you interested in establishing fundamental judicial connections with other young lawyers abroad that will benefit your career in law? Would you like to connect with the Florida Bar Association? Do you want to improve your English law skills abroad?

The Barcelona Bar Association is offering the opportunity to be a part of a young lawyer is networking exchange that will take place in Miami, Florida USA. This exchange is an opportunity for young lawyers to network and learn from each other’s bar associations along with obtaining experience working in an international setting. Lawyers from the Barcelona Bar Association and the United States will gather and share information among each other regarding legal practices and their Bar Associations.

The Young Lawyers Networking Exchange is also an excellent opportunity for young Spanish lawyers to practice their English in a professional judicial setting. This will enable young lawyers to be able to communicate more effectively, efficiently and professionally in judicial and international settings. The young lawyers exchange will give lawyers excellent opportunities to develop international negotiating skills and will enable them to communicate across cultures.

Requirements for participation include:
-A copy of University transcripts including GPA (Notas de la Universidad con promedio de calificaciones).
-Must be members of the Barcelona bar association.
-Must be a proficient speaker of English.

Spanish citizens holding a Spanish passport will be able to enter the United States for a maximum of exactly three months without applying for a visa.
