Law is my love, sports is my passion, and mental health is my cause. I am a lawyer from Barcelona, a mental health activist, an international speaker, and a former basketball player and coach. My research and interests focus on International Sports Law, Business and Human Rights, and Disability. I was diagnosed with severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder while studying in my third year of Bachelor of Law. At that time, this mental health problem disabled me in all aspects of my life. Some doctors thought I could not follow up with my legal studies because of this impairment. I demonstrated that they were wrong. After receiving support from my family, psychologist, psychiatrist, and friends, I worked tough to pursue my dream. I could throw in the towel and live with resignation, but I decided to fight to recover my freedom. It has been a long and challenging way, but I am already ready to dedicate all my passion, energy, and skills to a project with a clear purpose.
